Do I have to understand English when visiting international shows?

This always depends very much on the program and the performers. However, all international magicians are used to performing in simple English so that they can be understood. Many acts are only accompanied by music and even if you don't speak any English at all, you can understand all the magic effects.

Does the Magic World Viena offer discounts?

We offer discounts for children until the age of 18, students and holders of a disability pass.

These discounts apply to the categories Gold (third to eighth row) and Premium (second row).

Please note that we require appropriate identification upon entry.

How should the price for the VIP sofa be understood?

The price is basically for 2 people. However, you are welcome to take another child up to 12 years old with you for free. The seat is 116 cm wide and the middle armrest can be folded back into the backrest. This creates enough space for you to watch the show comfortably with your child!

What about accessibility or wheelchair suitability? Is there also a wheelchair-accessible toilet?

In the Magic World Theater we have one wheelchair space and one space for a wheelchair companion on both sides of the front row (VIP). Like all others, these seats can be easily booked online or at the box office.

We have an accessible toilet on both the ground floor and in the basement with the theater hall, which can be reached via a ramp.

What is the age limit for children?

Family shows: The minimum age is 6 years. It is like in the theaters. If your child can quietly follow the show, then it is no problem. 
Children shows: There is no age limit for kid's shows but our recommendation is 3-8 years. Children under 2 years of age are free of charge.
Lectures (magicians only): Restricted to adults and teenager from 14 years or more.

Can I cancel tickets?

In principle, tickets cannot be cancelled. In individual cases, we will consider a refund as a goodwill gesture if a cancellation request is made up to one week before the event, and then a voucher for future events can be issued.

What should I keep in mind before my visit?

• Please print your tickets or have them ready on your smartphone so our reception can scan them quickly.

• Arrive at least 20 minutes before the show to drop off your coat and enjoy snacks & drinks in the Magic Garden. Doors open 45 minutes before the performance.

• Our shows start on time. Latecomers can only be admitted during breaks between acts to avoid disturbing the performance.

• A free coat check is available for jackets and coats, as well as lockers for larger bags & backpacks. These items cannot be brought into the show due to fire safety regulations.

• Filming and photography are strictly prohibited during the acts. Repeat offenders will be escorted out of the theater without exception.

• After the show, you can take a souvenir photo with the stars in front of our Wall of Fame and even get an autograph.

• A designated parking area for strollers and scooters is available in the coat check area.

• A wheelchair ramp provides access to the theater. Our staff will be happy to assist you!
